The Ecuadorian American Chamber of Commerce, (AMCHAM) is a business organization designed to promote trade between Ecuador and the United States with the purpose of contributing to sustained development and improving the quality of life for citizens of both countries.

Our History

The Ecuadorian American Chamber of Commerce in Cuenca - AMCHAM CUENCA, as it is known internationally - is a nonprofit organization founded in Quito, Ecuador in 1974, and was established as an official branch in the city of Cuenca in April 1990. For more than twenty years we have worked to promote local and international commercial transactions. Our main objective is to promote business between Ecuador and the United States.

Our Membership

Currently, the Chamber has approximately 310 members, including companies, individual members, executives and members of the program YPN (Young Professional Network). These members receive significant benefits as part of the most important business group in Cuenca.

To set the benchmark of Binational Chambers of Commerce in Ecuador, to promote free trade, investment and new business development with the United States for the benefit of sustainable economic improvement of the country. ?
